Position: Chief Internal Auditor
Location: Faisalabad, Punjab
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), a leading public utility organization, is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as Chief Internal Auditor. This is a senior-level role, critical to ensuring the organization’s transparency, compliance, and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent evaluations of accounting, financial, and operational activities.
- Design and implement internal audit programs.
- Review internal controls, financial systems, and risk mitigation processes.
- Provide strategic insights and reports to the Audit and Finance Committee & Board of Directors.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and corporate governance frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA, ACCA, ACMA, MBA Finance) from a reputable local or international institute.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 4 years in a senior audit or risk management position.
- Deep knowledge of financial governance and compliance in public/private sectors.
- Experience with State-Owned Enterprises will be a plus.
Job Type & Salary:
- Contract Basis: Initial 3 years, extendable based on performance.
- Attractive Market-Based Salary Package.
