The Government of Punjab, Higher Education Department, is inviting applications from accomplished and visionary leaders for the prestigious post of Vice Chancellor at Kohsar University, Murree.
Who We’re Looking For:
We seek a dynamic academic leader with:
- A PhD from an HEC-recognized or UNESCO-listed institution.
- Proven experience in senior academic, research, or administrative roles.
- A strong portfolio of research, publications, and academic leadership.
- Not more than 65 years of age as of the application deadline.
- A valid NOC from the current employer (mandatory before interview).
Role & Responsibilities:
As the principal academic and administrative officer, the Vice Chancellor will:
- Promote teaching, research, and innovation.
- Ensure academic excellence and efficient university governance.
- Serve a term of 4 years (renewable at the Chancellor’s discretion).
