Maryam Nawaz, the CM of Punjab, recently introduced the Free Solar Panel Scheme for low-income consumers who consume up to 200 units of electricity monthly. If your consumption is 200 units per month, you can apply for the solar panel Scheme.

How to apply in Solar Panel Schemes:
Open this website https://cmsolarscheme.punjab.gov.pk/ and sign up. You are required to enter your name, CNIC Number, and email ID, create a password that you want to set, and then solve the captcha to verify that you are not a robot. After successful captcha solving, click Register to Proceed. After Successful registration, you will receive an email in your inbox, open this email and verify your account. After you logged in, the system will ask you to provide your bill reference number. Carefully write the number, then click to proceed. When you click on the proceed, the system will show you your electricity bill details, verify them, and click on the apply. If your electricity bill details are not what they are actually, click reset application and enter the correct reference number. After applying, keep tracking the latest information about Solar Panel installation.

Go to the write message in your phone, then write your bill reference number, and then write your CNIC Number
Please make sure to enter a space between your reference number and CNIC and send it to 8800
Under this scheme, 47182 system of 0.55KW and 47301 system of 1.1KW will be installed, and CM Maryam Nawaz also told that over 94000 Solar Panel Systems will be installed in the first phase

سال 2024 میں بجلی کے بلوں میں بے تحاشا اضافہ دیکھنے میں آیا، جس کے باعث غریب اور کم آمدنی والے خاندان شدید متاثر ہوئے۔ بجلی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے نے نہ صرف روزمرہ زندگی کو مہنگا کیا بلکہ کئی لوگ اپنے گھروں کا خرچ پورا کرنے سے بھی قاصر ہو گئے۔ ان حالات میں وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز نے ایک انقلابی اقدام اٹھاتے ہوئے “مفت سولر پینل اسکیم” کا آغاز کیا، جو بجلی کے بلوں سے نجات کے لیے ایک بہترین متبادل ثابت ہو رہی ہے۔
اسکیم کا مقصد
اس اسکیم کا بنیادی مقصد کم آمدنی والے شہریوں کو بجلی کے مہنگے بلوں سے بچانا ہے۔ وہ صارفین جو مہینے میں 200 یونٹ یا اس سے کم بجلی استعمال کرتے ہیں، ان کے لیے حکومت پنجاب سولر پینل مفت فراہم کر رہی ہے تاکہ وہ خود اپنی بجلی پیدا کر سکیں۔
سولر پینلز کے فوائد
سولر پینل نہ صرف بجلی کے بل کو کم کرتے ہیں بلکہ ماحولیاتی لحاظ سے بھی فائدہ مند ہیں:

- رجسٹریشن کے لیے اپنا نام، شناختی کارڈ نمبر، ای میل اور پاسورڈ درج کریں۔

اب تک تقریباً 8 لاکھ 61 ہزار افراد نے اسکیم میں رجسٹریشن کروا لی ہے۔ پہلے مرحلے کے لیے رجسٹریشن مکمل ہو چکی ہے اور قرعہ اندازی کے ذریعے منتخب افراد کی تفصیلات کی تصدیق جاری ہے۔ تصدیق مکمل ہونے کے بعد، مارچ 2025 سے جولائی 2025 کے درمیان سولر پینلز کی تنصیب شروع ہو جائے گی۔
وزیراعلیٰ نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ پہلے مرحلے کی کامیابی کے بعد دوسرا مرحلہ بھی شروع کیا جائے گا، جس میں باقی درخواست گزار رجسٹریشن کرا سکیں گے۔
